Description: An early childhood screening must be conducted by either an individual who is licensed as, or has training that is similar to a licensed teacher, school nurse, public health nurse, registered nurse, school psycholgist, or physician. The Early Childhood Screener responsibilities may include:

Conduct components of early childhood screening with child

Facilitate meeting with parent to discuss results of early childhood screening.

Submitting a referral or scheduling a rescreen when appropriate

Summarizing findings. submitting a referral and providing resources as needed to families.

Performs other duties as assigned

Schedule: 1-2 shifts per month
Approx 16 calendar days, Mostly Thursday afternoons, 1 Saturday and a few Tuesday afternoons. Approximately 64-70 hours per school year.
$25.00 per hour
