Multiple positions available: Eagle View, Falcon Ridge and Raven Stream

AM & PM position available

7:00-9:00 & 3:30-5:30 *please indicate your shift preference in the notes section*

All student days, plus 12-14 non school days

JOB SUMMARY: Assists in supervising daily activities by interacting with children or youth, assisting in preparing site for daily activities, enforcing program behavioral rules and safety guidelines, and providing support to the OST Leader in working closely with students in site projects, providing support for the homework help service, and assisting in the programming of site activities.

WORK REQUIREMENTS AND CHARACTERISTICS:

Education/Certification/Licensure:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a 1040 child contact hours using a combination of district training programs, experience, and coursework of an equivalent nature and level to perform the requirements of the work.
• CPI, CPR and First Aid Certified or willing to become certified within the first 90 days of employment
• Valid Minnesota Driver's License

Experience:

• 1-3 years of youth programming experience preferred
• Must be 18 years of age

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to work effectively with students of all ages and abilities in a positive manner
• Ability to communicate in oral, written and web based communication format with district personnel, staff and families
• Ability to exercise confidentiality in handling district information
